A leg that has to stay up for weeks needs more than a stack of pillows. Pillows lose their firmness, slide out of position and need resetting at night. This set does the opposite job: two firm foam wedges, each one a continuous slope carrying the leg from thigh to heel, a soft upper layer over a firm base.

Use them together or apart. After a double knee replacement, or when both legs swell, place one wedge under each leg. After surgery on one knee, ACL or meniscus, foot or ankle, raise the surgery leg on one wedge and keep the other lower or flat. Each leg sits in its own U shaped groove, with no ridge under the knee and room for a foot in a cast or brace.

Set the spacing that suits your body. The included strap links the two wedges in a V, H or II layout, so legs are not pressed together, air moves between them, and wider hips and plus-size frames have room. When the strap is not needed, it stores in the side pocket.

As the swelling settles, change the height instead of the pillow. On each wedge, turn the movable support board forward for 10.63 inches, backward for 7.87 inches. Two hook and loop strips hold the board so it does not slide, and there is no valve, no pump and nothing to inflate.
