  • It is generally safe for sealed hard floors (tile, laminate, vinyl, linoleum, stone). Avoid using on unsealed wood, waxed floors, or sensitive surfaces—check your floor manufacturer's guidelines first.

  • Distilled, demineralized, or purified water is recommended in place of tap water. Tap water contains minerals that cause scale buildup, which clogs the machine and reduces performance.

  • Check if the water tank is properly attached and filled. Ensure the mop head is clean and not clogged. Allow sufficient time for the unit to heat up (usually 25 seconds).

  • Unplug and let the mop cool. Use a pin or needle to gently clear the steam holes. For heavy buildup, run a vinegar-water solution through the system, then rinse with distilled water.

  • The weight is integral to performance, as it helps maintain steam pressure and heat for effective cleaning. When cleaning higher places, we recommend using an extension hose for easier and safer access.
